Merry Christmas and roll on 2016

bad santaThanks to everyone who came to a fantastic last Gits and Shiggles of the year last night.  I think we can all agree that Reginald D. Hunter, Tom Parry, James Veitch, Eleanor Tiernan and John Hastings tore the roof off, and it was a great way to round off the year at The Half Moon.

And in 2016 we start all over again, with some fantastic shows coming up featuring the likes of Henning Wehn, Shappi Khorsandi, Phil Nichol, Aisling Bea*, James Acaster, Nish Kumar, Kerry Godliman and more. Tickets for the first batch of shows are available below now (see Gig Listings)

Also coming up in 2016…

The return of our Time Out Critic’s Choice character and sketch night Character Assassination.

Parky! – an improvised chat show combining improv, stand-up and live music. This an exciting new project in partnership with The Free Association, with the first show announced soon

Our glorious 5th Birthday celebrations!  We’ve got some special plans and as always, you’ll be the first to know!

Stay tuned for more details

But for those who can’t wait until then, we’ve got some recommendations for you to round off 2015:

Now – 21 December – Heroes Grotto of Comedy – An annual yueltide festival of comedy, with shows on every night, highlights including Richard Herring, Jon Richardson, The Weirdos Panto, Nick Helm, and Laugh Out London’s two night fundraiser for Shelter (including Harry Hill, Stewart Lee and Isy Suttie) – TICKETS

9 & 10 December – Knock2Bag host top US stand-up and star of Wet Hot American Summer John Early – TICKETS

22 December – The “improv supergroups” (Time Out) The Petting Zoo and Bleak Mouse return for their final show of the year, performing bespoke Christmas themed tales with some fantastic guests from the London improv scene, including the fantastic Joseph Morpurgo, nominated for the 2015 Fosters’ Edinburgh Comedy Award for his five star show Soothing Sounds for Baby

The gig is pay-what-you-want on the door at The Miller, London Bridge, with all proceeds going to the homeless charity shelter.
